Indie Group MGMT To Sue Sarkozy
The slimy French president managed to fuck things up again.
Nicolas Sarkozy seems to have used their song in his political campaign without their permission (he’s french, he don’t need permission) …
I did expect that but I didn’t expect the following.
Sarkozy’s people admitted the ‘mistake’ and offered a symbolic gesture of one Euro.
Now MGMT is going to sue Sarkozy for being a french asshole.
I wish them all the luck in the world.

i’m surprised they didn’t use MGMT’s “time to pretend” song, it would have been so much more suited to a political campaign
