French soldiers
Here’s a picture of some french soldiers after the first world war.
Although it’s unsure if they actually participated in the war or they just got dressed as soldiers to take this photo, let’s assume that they did participate.
(yeah, I know, “participate” sounds stupid, but I couldn’t have said “fought” now, could I ?)
Just imagine it. Being a slimy french soldier, on the battlefield, practicing your surrendering skills so you can do it properly when you reach the enemy, smoking cheap french cigars to cover up your smelly armpits (because you DO want to surrender and NOT kill your enemies with your stench) while thinking of your hairy girlfriend or pudel … what can be more awsome ?
Ah yes, I know … you could run out of cigars, shit your pants and have to go back to Paris to take a picture of you and the other slimy french cheese-eating surrendering monkey-frogs.
Which is certainly what happened to produce the above photo.
