Well all the people that love the French either ARE French or they have French relatives (which makes them a little bit French too, which makes them love the slimy french).
Learning French is a complete waste of time, and the French can’t force anyone to do anything … because they’re french.
So the people who force you to learn francais are probably (most definetly) not French, but they do love the French for the reason above. If they try to force you to learn french again … you should point your finger at them like a gun, maybe even say “Bang”.
They’ll probably surrender.

A famous joke I heard in Boston :
“A person who speaks two languages is bilingual…A person who speaks three languages is trilingual…A person who speaks four or more languages is multilingual.

The only thing I can see is that most of english-speaking people who come in France will speak english. But a french who is in an english-speaking country has to speak english…
